The mission statement of our wonderful Parish calls us to five fundamental disciplines of the Church—worship, education, outreach, pastoral care and stewardship. Of these disciplines, it is stewardship of our talents, time, and personal finances by which all else is made possible. It is because of our Parish’s strong commitment to stewardship that our worship is alive, our classrooms active, and those in need spiritually and materially are comforted and aided.
We draw our inspiration for stewardship from John 13 in the moving story of Jesus washing his disciples’ feet. As he washed their, Jesus said;” If I then your Lord and Teacher have washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another’s. I have given you an example, that you should serve as I have served you.” Like Jesus’ disciples, we are called to a life of servant hood to our families, our friends, and to our neighbors near and far. We are called to a servant hood to God Himself. In the giving of our time to the ministries of our Parish; in lending of our talents to our many Committees and parish life events; and, in the sacrificial giving of our financial blessings, we, as Jesus promised, enter into this servant hood with the full expectation that will be blessed in our giving.

"Is this not the fast that I choose...to share your bread with the hungry, and to bring the homeless poor into your house; when you see the naked to cover him, and not to hide yourself from your own kind?"
Isaiah 58:6-7
